NYC Places Mentioned in Taylor Swift Lore

Welcome to New York, it’s been waiting for you.

As lover of New York and Taylor Swift these are places Taylor has mentioned in lyrics or places in New York she loves. (That isn’t her current home. Her home is not a tourist attraction.)

Lovers of Today

Address: 32 1/2 E 7th St, New York, NY 10009

“Dive bar on the east side where you at” -delicate on her album reputation

Lovers of Today is a cocktail bar in the East Village. Drinks are an average of $16 per drink. Steep prices but typical New York prices for one. The astral plane is one of my favorite drinks ever. Any excuse to go to this place I will. They also have a great happy hour deal!

Housing Works Soho

Address: 126 Crosby St, New York, NY 10012

Housing works is a non profit organization that supports efforts to end AIDS and homelessness. They have chains of thrift stores where Taylor filmed a scene from her short film All Too Well at the location in Soho.

The High Line

Address: 820 Washington St. New York, NY 10014

“Your heartbeat on the high line once in twenty livelines” - cardigan from her album folklore

The High Line is a 1.4 mile linear park in NYC built on an abandoned railway. On the walk you’ll see greenery, art and great views of NYC’s skyline in the Chelsea neighborhood on the west side.

Museum of the Arts and Design in New York

Address: 2 Columbus Cir, New York, NY 10019

The Museum of the Arts and Design in New York has dedicated an entire floor to showcase Taylor Swift’s storytelling process and her costumes, props, and jewelry worn throughout her 10 album grammy winning hit career. Throughout the floor you can also see her music videos playing on the tvs, her lyrics on the wall with a gift shop stocked with Taylor Swift merch.

Coney Island

“I’m sitting on a bench on Coney Island wondering where did my baby go” - Coney Island from her album evermore

Southernmost tip of Brooklyn known for its iconic boardwalk, amusement parks, and beach.

Cornelia Street

Taylor rented an apartment on Cornelia Street in 2016 for a year. It was the inspiration for the song “Cornelia Street” off the Lover album

bus stop cafe

Address: 597 Hudson St, New York, NY 10014

The “bus stop” from ‘The 1’ is rumored to be the bus stop cafe rather than an actual bus stop. The food is American cafe style with price range around $20.

Enjoy your trip to NYC Swifties <3
